THE HERITAGE ON WHICH WE GROW

Bosnian history is not very known to the world but it cradled a tradition of hard workers who were passionate craftsmen and craftswomen. Many of them worked with local materials and passed the secrets of the craft from generation to generation.

This heritage is a part of our DNA and it helped us grow into what we are today. Knowing what it takes to create a high quality product gives us an edge in sourcing the right material and finding the perfect fit for modern furniture.

Years of perfecting

ROOTS
Like many big stories, our’s also had a humble start. The original fabrics storage was a family basement, where the first orders were made for local businesses who sold furniture.
POSITIONING
Once the sales kicked off, the natural next step was switching to ready-made furniture with fabrics already fitted. This was short-lived as we decided to re-focus on the one thing we excel at. Fabrics.
GROWTH
By this time, the demand grew so much, all of our business was focused solely on fabrics. The original compound was expanded 3 times before we built a new one from the ground up.
EXPANSION
After building a whole new facility in our hometown, it was time to expand globally. In early 2020’s, Lion Fabrics opened offices in Germany and China, positioning itself as an international brand.

From starting up as a tiny shop to global expansion, one thing has never changed - our home is still in Gradiska.

It's a mindset that taught us to be crafty, resourceful and innovative in face of modern global market challenges.

LION was established as an artisan family business, growing into a respectable international company.

Our journey has taken us many places but always in the same direction. We are grateful for everyone who helped shape LION Fabrics into what it is today. It took every little thing to be done right - from operating machinery and meeting deadlines to order management and process optimisation.
